Medical Field Officer
Minimum required knowledge and experience:
• University degree in Medical Field (Medical doctor of Registered Nurse)
• Additional public health training and experience running first aid programs will be advantageous
• 2-3 years working experience within primary health structures in Nigeria
• Excellent command of English, good command of Hausa Language (written and spoken)
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop a network of contacts
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel & Power point)
• Ability to travel extensively within northern Nigeria and work independently as required
• Candidates should have a reasonable knowledge and understand of public infrastructures such as government offices as well as other organisations in the region.
• Driving experience and a valid driver's license
• Valid practice license and registration with relevant profession body.

• Ability to work independently, and capacity to take initiatives when appropriate
• Teamwork oriented with sound communication skills
• Punctual reliable, confirmed organisational skills
• Sound empathy when dealing with people/beneficiaries
• Adaptability and capacity to integrate changes
• Sound capacity to stricitly apply ICRC rules and working procedures
