It has come to the knowledge of the Medical laboratory science council of Nigeria that some practitioners are yet to obtain the mandatory 10 CPD Credit units which is a prerequiste for licensure in 2014. Such practitioners are hereby advised to go to the council or AMLSN websties (elearning courses) and remedy the shortfall on or before 31st March.

 

As from 1st april, 2014, any license request not backed by the required number of CPD Units will attract a penalty of N10000.

 

However, those wo are not readily disposed to remedying the deficiency and in urgent need of license before the above deadline may opt to pay the penalty.

 

Please note that any such shortfall in the future will attract the full cost of obtaining 10 CPD units.
