The National president of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives has verified and confirmed the authenticity of the message making rounds on the social media claiming to be from the pro NANNM.

 

The message read " SECURITY ALERT! Am directed by the State Chairman NANNM to inform the entire Nurses of this state that, U.S. Embassy in Nig alerted NANNM HQ DAT BOKO HARAM SECTS are despirately in need of Nurses for adoption to care for the sick adopted girls and their injure members. Hence, no Nurse should wear uniform outside hospital to and fro. Pls. pass the message across fellow comrades! Thanks... PRO... NANNM

 

In a telephone chat , Alhaji Abdulrafiu Adeniji confirmed that the message was indeed true and targeted at nurses in the northeast especially.

 

The initial message was made available by nurse solomon danmori for the benefit and safety of his fellow colleagues.
