The National Association of Resident Doctors today raised the alarm that the health care sector in Nigeria is dying, a point that made know when they took to the streets in Abuja in black ward coats
Major points of demand raised by the protesting doctors include
- Immediate implementation of the National health act of 2014
- Immediate revamping of the tertiary health institutions
- Imediate release of the template on residency training program without any alteration
- Immediate payment of salaries of doctors in state hospitals with some being owed up to Nine months and
- Non selective implementation of 'No work, No Pay'
