National Orthopaedic Hospital Dala Kano is one of the regional orthopaedic hospitals in Nigeria. The Hospital provides services, training and research in the areas of Orthopaedic & Trauma, Burns & Reconstructive Surgeries and related discipline.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

(1).  HOSPITAL CONSULTANTS:
⦁    Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons
⦁    Consultant Physician
⦁    Consultant General Surgeon
⦁    Senior Consultant Radiology
⦁    Senior Consultant Family Physician

(2). RESIDENT DOCTORS:
⦁    Senior Resident Doctors in Anaesthesia, Haematology & Chemical Pathology
⦁    Junior Resident Doctor in: 
⦁    Orthopaedic & Trauma
⦁    Burns & Plastic surgery

(3). NURSING OFFICER (NO II, NO I)

QUALIFICATIONS:

(1). HOSPITAL CONSULTANTS:
⦁    Candidates must posses fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons/Physicians or it’s equivalent from a recognized Institution
⦁    Candidate must be registered with the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria
⦁    Preference will be given to Cardiologist or Rheumatologist for position 1 b.
⦁    For position 1 d & 1 e, four (4) years cognate experience in addition to above.

SALARY SCALE: CONMESS 5 for position 1a, 1b & 1c and CONMESS 6 for position 1d & 1e plus fringe benefits and allowances as applicable in the existing policies of the Federal Government 

(2A) SENIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE 

⦁    Candidate must possess MBBS from a recognized institution.
⦁    NYSC discharge certificate or exemption
⦁    Candidate must be registered with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria.
⦁    Candidate must have passed part one examination of the West African College of Surgeon or equivalent in any of the above stated discipline:
⦁    Candidate must have current practicing licence

SALARY SCALE: CONMESS 4 plus fringe benefits and allowance as applicable in the existing policies of the Federal Government.

(2B) JUNIOR RESIDENT DOCTORS QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE 
⦁    Candidate must posses MBBS from a recognized institution 
⦁    NYSC discharged or exemption 
⦁    Candidate must be registered with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria.

SALARY SCALE: CONMESS 3 plus fringe benefits and allowances as applicable in the existing policies if the Federal Government 

(3)  NURSING OFFICER  (NO II, NO I)

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
     NO I
⦁    Candidate must possess Bsc. Nursing from a recognized institution with NYSC discharged or exemption certificate 
⦁    Candidate must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria
⦁    Candidate must possess current practicing licence  
⦁    Candidate with B.Sc Nursing must have done internship 

SALARY SCALE: CONHESS 8 plus fringe benefits and allowances as applicable in the existing policies of the Federal Government 

NO II
⦁    Candidate must possess registered Nursing Certificate from a recognized Institution
⦁    Candidate must be Registered with Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria
⦁    Candidate must possess current practicing licence

SALARY SCALE: CONHESS 7 plus fringe benefits and allowances as applicable in the existing policies of the Federal Government
