Qualifications and Experience

Post 1:

Applicants must possess at least a B.Sc. Degree with minimum of Second Class Upper Division In any of the following: Plant Breeding, Biochemistry, Taxonomy, Microbiology, Agronomy, Nematology, Virology, Biotechnology, Biometrics/Statistic, Physiologist, Entomologist and Plant Pathology.

Post 2:

Applicants must possess an M Sc. Degree in the disciplines listed in item one above.

Post 3:

Applicants must possess Ph. D in the disciplines listed in item one above plus one reputable Journal Publication and two Conferenc&Seminar Papers.

Post 4:

Applicants must possess HND in Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Virology or Biochemistry from a recognised Institution plus 2 years post qualification cognate experience.

Post 5:

Applicants must possess Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree registerable with the Optometrist and Dispensing Opticians Board of Nigeria and has successfully completed the NYSC Scheme plus 3 years post qualification cognate experience.

 

Applicants are expected to possess NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate.

 

Condition of Service:

Condition of Service are similar to those existing in Research Institutes and Allied Institutions.
