National Vetertinary Research Institute (NVRI) Vacancies for Executive Director/Chief Executive Officers

Applications are here by invited from suitably Qualified candidates for the post fo Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer in the National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI), a Parastatal under the aegis of the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria.

The Institute has national mandate for research into all aspects of animal diseases, their treatment and control, and the developemnt and production of animal vaccinces and sera.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be holder of PhD in relevant disciplines, has extensive researh experience as evidenced by scientific publications with a minimum of ten(10) years cognate experiecne in a Research Instititute, College or related organisation. Inaddition candidates must have ability to provide research/administrative leadership and also hve clear and articulated vision for the developemnt of the institute.

Terms of Appointement:

A single term of Five (5)years only

Duties:

The Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer is the Research and Administrative head of the Institute and therefore, responsible for the research and administrative management and leadership of the institute.

Salary:

Political Officer Holder's Salary Scale.
