Nigeiran Medicinal Plants Development Company (NMPDC) formerly Artemisinin Development Company (ADC) is a Company that is currently supervised by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The aim of the Government is to build the Company to a position that would attract Investors through the Creation of Enabling Environment and Establishment of Structures. THe Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in pursauant to irs functions to implement, manage and administer the Nigerian Medicinal Plants Development Company (NMPDC) is declaring Vacancy for the Post of of Managing Director.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful Candidate will be responsible for the Management of the Nigeria Medicinal Plants Development Company (NMPDC) as well as implementation of the Company's Strategies, Projects and Programmes.

ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS/CONDITION

a. Minimum of B.Sc or its equivalent from recognized institution with not less than twenty years cognate experience. Ten (10) years of which must be at a Senior Management Level in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

b. A recognized Qualification in Pharmacy with not less that fifteen (15) years cognate experience in Pharmaceutical Industry. (10) years of which must be at management Level

c. The Candidate must possess excellent management, communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

d. Excellent Computer Skills including high proficiency in using Microsoft Office Programs

e. The following shall be an added advantage;

i. A  Post Graduate degree in Pharmacognosy and/or Analytical Chemistry

ii. In addition, the candidate should be registered with Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN)

DURATION OF APPOINTMENT 

A single period of five (5) years non-renewable.
