NAPPSA is pleased to announce competition for the 2014 NAPPSA/H. D. Smith Scholarship.  H. D. Smith is the leading, privately-held national supplier of healthcare products and business solutions.  This scholarship of $1,000 is available to all NAPPSA student members who have paid annual dues as of the time of application deadline.  The applicant must be enrolled in a Pharm. D. or graduate program relevant to pharmaceutical sciences and in a university in USA, and must be a full-time student in good standing as defined by that institution.  He or she must submit the following to be considered:

 

An essay of 500 words or less.  The essay should reflect reasons why the applicant believes he or she should be selected and strategies to help resolve a healthcare issue in Nigeria.

Names and contact information (email and telephone) of two academic references.

Current transcript that reflects performance since matriculation into a Pharm. D. or graduate program.  An unofficial transcript is acceptable as long as it is printed from the school’s website or is a copy of the official transcript.
