The Nigerian Medical Association, Delta State, held their Annual General Meeting/Scientific Workshop/Election with the theme: 'THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IN THE MANAGEMENT OF CHRONIC RENAL DISEASE' on the 12th of July, 2014 at the PTI Conference Centre under the distinguished Chairmanship of Dr. Adogbeji Ernest Ideh (Mr NMA).
Arising from the above, the following resolutions were made:
1. That the Nigerian Medical Association, Delta State pass a vote of confidence on the new leadership of the National body.
2. That the Elders admonish the newly elected executives to work hard in ensuring that the NMA Delta State remains formidable and united
3. We Acknowledge and appreciate the giant strides made in the health sector be the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr, Emmanuel E. Uduaghan (CON) in the areas of Renal Transplant and Haemo-Dialysis as well as Maternal and Child Health.
4. That we also appreciate His Excellency, Dr.Emmanuel E. Uduaghan (CON), for the welfare packages for health workers and the CONMESS in particular which other states are yet to implement
5. At the AGM, the following officers were elected:
