Nigerian Optometric Association Public Notice on the 2016 NOA Elections

Dear Colleagues; Preparatory to the NOA elections coming up at the AGM in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Optometric Association has concluded the grouping of states into zones for the purpose of the 2016 Elections. Please find bellow the zoning and the contact person for the zones.

All interested candidates should please be informed of this, so that enquires and information can be sourced from the respective contact persons in the interested contestants.

ZONE 1

It is also my pleasure to inform you that the time table for the electoral process has been prepared and is hereby released to enable you plan for the election.

The time table as stated below:

* purchase of forms starts NOW

* sale of forms stops on May 29th 2016

* deadline for submission of completed forms is 30th May 2016

* Release of the list of cleared candidates is on 2nd of June 2016

* Campaign commences on June 2nd of June 2016

* Campaign ends by 11:59pm on 14th July 2016

* Manifesto night is on July 15th 2016

* Election is on Saturday July 16 2016

* Results to be announced at the end of collation and counting of votes.

Registration fee into the various offices is as follows:

President N20,000

vice president N15,000

Secretary N15,000

Others N10,000.
