NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME (NHIS)
The general public will recall the recent re-accreditation of Health Maintenance Organisations (HMOs) by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), for the purpose of strengthening the system and enhancing the quality of care available to our enrolees.
At the end of the exercise, some HMOs did not make the final accreditaion list. Please check the website www.nhis.gov.ng for the list.

To protect the rights of our enrolees to easy access to care, payments will be made on their behalf by NHIS, directly to affected Healthcare Facilities (HCFs).
Therefore, such facilities that have enrolees in HMOs not listed, are hereby requested to forward their corporate bank details to NHIS through the following e-mail address: [email protected]
Information on modalities of payments and required formates are also available on our website.
