The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has released the results of the final qualifying examination for midwives written in March 2017 according to a circular sent to various schools the results showed that 2,373 Midwives representing 90.7% of those who sat for the exams will be added to the register.
Below is the content of the circular

Summary of the Results Indicate:
(a)Post Basic Midwives
Total numbers of 1,294 candidates were successful in the examination representing 95%
(b). Basic Midwives
Total number of 987 candidates were successful in the examination representing 95%
(c) Community Midwives
Total numbers of 92 candidates were successful in the examination representing 84%
