The Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria at its 43rd General Meeting approved that the Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) issued by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria will be accepted for registration by Nurses wishing to register with the Council as Educators. NMCN/SG/RO/CIR/24/VOL.4/112 7th May, 2018 

The following guidelines are to be presented by any applicant applying for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria: 

 

1. Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) or MSc (Nursing) Certificate obtained from accredited Universities 

 

2. Certificates of Registrations a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria 

 

3. Letter of identification from PDE training Institution(s) 

 

4. PDE transcripts from the training Institution(s) 

 

5. Certificate of Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) 

 

6. Evidence of payment of prescribed fees of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Through Remita
