Our Institute collaborates with departments within the University faculties to provide inputs to the regular public health related undergraduate programs while being strategically positioned to provide academic directions for both postgraduate and professional certificates and diplomas. 1) INTRODUCTION TO STATA AND APPLIED BASIC STATISTICAL TRAINING

DATE: February 3-6, 2014

This workshop on STATA will help researchers in managing data, to perform basic statistical and epidemiological analysis and turning raw data into effective tables, figures and other research products.

This workshop is targeted at researchers interested in use of quantitative analysis. This course is for those with beginner to medium knowledge on use of stata.

2) 3rd ANNUAL BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH ETHICS COURSE

DATE: February 17-19, 2014

This program is a capacity building workshop which aims to enhance research protocol review, research ethics training. This workshop is targeted at ethics committee members, teachers of ethics, researchers.

3) MEDICAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM – DESIGN AND DELIVERY

DATE: February 24 – 27, 2014

This workshop will focus on the designing of the curricula for Medical Education. It is targeted at Researchers and Educators in the Medical Education System as well as policy makers.
