The Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) seeks suitably qualified candidates for the below vacant positions for employment:
 
A. Post: TWO (2) CLINIC OFFICERS (SWR/CO 2018)
Locations: PPFN Clinics Ibadan and Oshogbo.
 
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to organize and deliver integrated reproductive health and family planning services in a friendly environment at both clinic and outreach levels.
 
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse/Midwifery
• Certificate in Family Planning.
• B.Sc. in Nursing will be an added advantage
• Five (5) years relevant work experience in SRH/FP provision 
• Excellent contextual, analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
• Team leadership and team playing qualities / experience.
• Familiarity with the WHO eligibility criteria for contraceptives use.
• Computer literacy skill (a key requirement for use in Clinic Information Management System)
• Sensitive and caring but firm in dealing with junior level staff.
 
Desirable:
• Strong knowledge of SRH/FP work
• Familiarity and varied experience with clinic (layout) setting and management.
• Skills in integrated approach and syndromic management of cases.
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. 
 
B. PROGRAMME OFFICER SERVICE DELIVERY (SWR/PO(SD) 2018)
Location: PPFN Regional Office Ibadan.
Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the implementation of integrated reproductive health and family planning services in a friendly environment at both clinic and outreach levels in the region as part of strategy to expand access to a broad range of SRH/FP information and services.
 
Requirements: 
• Degree in Public Health in addition to training in Medicine, Nursing.
• Seven years relevant work experience including not less than three years in an NGO (preferably in SRH).
• Excellent contextual, analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
• Team leadership and team playing qualities/experience.
• Familiarity with key national and international implementing support and donor organizations in SRH.
• Computer literacy skills.
• Sensitive and caring but firm and decisive in managing junior-level staff.
• Strong knowledge of NGO operations particularly those in reproductive health including family planning, maternal and child health, sexual health and women development, program development and management.
• Familiarity with varied socio-cultural issues as they relate to SRH in the country and sensitive to cross-cultural issues and concerns.
• Possession of a master’s Degree will be an advantage.
• Membership of relevant professional associations
