a) Medical Laboratory Scientist
Job Responsibilties:
• Analyse body fluids or tissues using microscope or automatic analyser to detect abnormalities or diseases
• Conduct blood tests and perform blood counts
• Examine cells and cultures to find abnormalities.
• Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment
• Analyse results of tests
• Record test data
• Work with a pathologist when abnormal cells are found
• Prepare standard solutions or reagents to be combined with samples
• Analyse food or drink samples to detect contamination or to ensure quality
• Environmental sample analysis to detect pollutants

B). Nursing Officers
Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs.
• Interviewing patients and recording their medical history.
• Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms.
• Administering injections of medications.
• Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately.
• Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments.
• Providing nursing care, such as assessing blood pressure, pulse, temperature or respiration rate.
• Observing and monitoring patients; administering specific injections, vaccines or medication.
• Recording accurate information of patient’s health or progress.
• Sterilizing medical equipments.
• Bathing patients and cleaning wounds.
• Assisting fellow nurses and physicians with tests or procedures and supervising nursing aides, among others.
