The West African College of Physicians' (WACP) mission is to improve the health of West Africans through excellence in training of medical specialists, and the provision of high quality health care. The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has developed a close and effective partnership with WACP over the past decade.
With support from the Ecobank Foundation, the WACP and RCP are organising a clinical course in Ibadan that will focus on the treatment and management of HIV, TB and malaria as well as preparation for infectious disease outbreaks such as Ebola.
The course is open only to doctors in training who have passed their membership examination with the colleges (ie senior registrars) and to medical officers and senior medical officers working in state-owned hospitals.'

The application process opens on 15 August 2016 and the closing date for application is 3 September 2016. Limited partial funding (to support travel and accommodation) is available to support a small number of applicants who live more than 100km outside Ibadan.
