Yenagoa Bayelsa State Government has given automatic employment to six casual veterinary doctors of the state Veterinary Clinic in Edepie, Yenagoa
Governor Seriake Dickson, announced this while commissioning this which commissioning the ultra modern veterinary clinicon the School to Land premises in Yenagoa.
Dickson, who said the state government will continue to invest in agrinculture, added that efforts were being made to put a standard abattoir in place in the state.
According to him,No animal will be allowed into the state without being properly examied before it is slughtered for consumption after the consumption after the complettion of the abbatoir"
Dickson described agriculture as the tripod of his administration, adding that it wil create employment and provide food for the teening population of Bayelsans.
It will also increase the Gross Dornest Product of the state and improve our intenally generated revenue profile as well," he noted.
