Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science - Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

PROFESSOR:

candidates should possess phD degree from a recognised institution in their areas of specialization plus twelve years of experience in teaching and research. They should be able to develop new programs, conduct research independently and have proven supervisory and administrative capabilities. They must show evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals both national and international

 

READER:

candidates should possess phD degree from a recognised institution in their areas of specialization plus ten years of experience in teaching and research. They should be able to develop new programs, conduct research independently and have proven supervisory and administrative capabilities. They must show evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals both national and international

 

Senior Lecturer: candidates should possess phD degree from a recognised institution in their areas of specialization with at least six years cognate experience of teaching and research and must produce evidence of good record of publications in reputable journals

CONDITION OF SERVICE

Successful candidates will be on probation for two years after which they may be confirmed to retirement age if their services are considered satisfactory.

 

Non Nigerians may be offered contract appointment for a period of three (3) years which may be renewed for another term plus a 25% contract addition payable to those who qualify in lieu of pension.
