The Associate Director, Special Projects as a member of the Program Management Team and with guidance from the Director of Programs, the AD Special Projets provides leadership, management, coordination, and technical expertise for Planning implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Global Fund project.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
. MB.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
. or MSIMA in social science, public health or related field, MPH preferred, anda minimum of 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years relevant supervisory experience.
. Or BS/BA in social science, public health or related field, with a minimum of 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs which includes 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
. Considerable experience in designing and implementing of public health/ international development programs funded by US government or other international donors.
. Demonstrated management, supervision, networking and leadership skills working with large, complex programs.
. Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning, administrative, and financial management systems.
. Demonstrated experience in undertaking high-level policy dialogue with different stakeholders.
The State Program Manager is part of the senior management team for FHI360 Nigeria, in a decentralized country management structure and forms part of the strategic team that directs the operations of FHI360 Nigeria overall. H/She is reponsible for program planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the interventions implemented by FHI360 and its partners in the assigned zone. He/She is accountable for judicious use of all resources entrusted with FHI360 and its partners in the assigned state.
MInimum Recruitment Standards:
. MB.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience in public health/research.
. Or MPH, or MSfMA in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience in public health/research.
. Thorough knowledge of epidemiological data management tools such as SPSS or EPI6 INFO, and relevant computer software skills.
. Proven track record of writing and publishing, especially at scientific conferences and in scientific journals and of conducting research and large scale evaluation project.
. Knowledge of techniques, principles, methods and data analysis related to epidemiology and treatment of HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and other diseases of public health importance.
. Familiarity with Nigerian health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
The Senior Techical Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation, Under the supervision of the State program Manager, and with technical oversight from the Director of Monitoring and Evaliation, is responsible for the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluatoin for the state office. S/he will work with others in the stateoffice and local implementing partners to ensure that monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project's M&E needs
Minimum Recriuitement Standards:
. MBBS or similar degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Inititives.
. Or MPH or MSc. in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evalution system implementation for Global Health Inititives.
. Or BS/BA in statistics, pharmacy, microbiology, monitoring and evaluation or in relevant degree with 7 to 9 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evalution system implementation for Global Health Inititives.
. Familiarity with Nigerian publec sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is Highly desirable.
The Senior Technical Officer, Prevention Care and Treatment, will provide technical support to implement high quality care, treatment and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS inCluding provision of Antiretroviral therapy. The STO will also provide technical leadership and support to the implementing agencies in prevention and mitigation at the state level. It includes supporting the implementation of prevention activities (sexual and biomedical) and strategic behavior change interventions, testing and counseling, home based care, orphans and 'fulnerable children and other community mobilization activities
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
. MBBS or similar degree' with 3 to 5 years of progressive relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT ART in resource constrained settings.
. Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in a related field is required.
. Experience in project development with proven experience in the planning and facilitation of training is required. .
. Experience in large and complex SBC/BCC mobilization activities in a donor funded national health focused project is an added advantage.
. Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
The Assistant Technical Officer, Prevention, Care and Treatment will work with the State Technical Officer to provide technical and programmatic support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS, PMTCT, RH/Family Planning, TB and integrated medical services at the state level.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
. MBBS or similar degree with minimum of 1 year relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings.
. B.Sc. Nursing, Public health, Pharmacy or other closely related field with 1-3 years relevant experience.
. Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
