Nursing/Nursing Science
Requirements
Candidates applying for the position of Senior Lecturer should possess Bachelors Degree with not less than Second Class Lower Division. He/She should be registered as a Nurse/Midwife/Public Health with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. He/She should possess Master’s Degree in Nursing and Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Nursing Science with minimum of 8 Publications in reputable national and international journals. Clinical work experience will be an added advantage.
Candidates applying for the position of Lecturer I should possess Bachelor Degree with not less than Second Class Lower Division. He/She should be registered as a Nurse/Midwife/Public Health with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and should possess Master’s Degree in Nursing, Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Nursing Science and Minimum of 3 Publications in reputable national and international journals. Clinical work experience will be added advantage.
Candidates applying for the position of Lecturer II should possess Bachelor of Nursing Science degree with not less than Second Class Lower Division. He/She should be registered as a Nurse/Midwife/Public Health with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and should possess Master’s Degree in Nursing. Clinical work experience and Publications in reputable national and international journals will be added advantages.
(b) Department of Community Health
Position: Senior Lecturer/Lecturer I - CONUASS 05/04

Medical Fellow -Health Management
Position: Lecturer I/II - CONUASS 04/03
Areas of Specialisation
Non-Medical Fellow – Nutrition
Requirements
Candidates applying for the position of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer I (Medical Fellow Health Management) must possess MB.Ch.B. degree, FMCPH/FWACP (Public Health) with focus in Health Management. Additional training in Administration or Management will be an advantage. In addition, candidate for Senior Lectureship position should have cognate experience in the University system or equivalent institution.
Candidates applying for the position of Lecturer I/II (Non-Medical Fellow Nutrition) should possess M.Sc. and/or Ph.D degree in Human Nutrition. Entry level will depend on cognate experience in University or equivalent institutions and publications.
B. SENIOR NON-TEACHING POSITION
Department of Microbiology

Requirements
Candidates applying for the position of Technologist must possess HND in Microbiology and Micro- techniques and at least three years working experience preferably In a University.
