United Healthcare International Limited is a limited liability company incorporated in January 2000. It is registered solely as a health maintenance organization. The National Health Insurance Scheme under the National health Insurance Act 35 of 1999 licenses it. It is accredited to function both as a private health insurance company and for participation in the formal/informal sector social health insurance programme administered by the NHIS. It is reaccredited in 2009.

From year 2000 to date we have recorded growing enrolees base of over 800,000 across private and public sectors and we are currently positioned to serve enrollees base of more than 5,000,000.
