The Chief Medical Director, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu State, Dr. Christopher Amah has said that 20 persons suffering different kinds of heart ailments are undergoing surgeries at the hospital.
At a press briefing, Dr. Amah said the exercise is being funded by the Rotary International in alliance with two charity organizations; the Voom Foundation and Cardiostart, all based in the USA.

He added that the current programme is the 12th medical mission being performed in the hospital, since it commenced open heart surgeries three years ago.
The CMD said the current medical mission which began on Tuesday would last for two weeks.
