Job Description

• Our client is looking to hire an Operations Manager to plan, implement and coordinate operations activities to support the achievement of the company’s strategy (i.e., operations excellence, sales, customer growth and exceptional product/ service delivery).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the organization, including planning, procurement, production, quality control, inventory, distribution & logistics, and customer service.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
• Manage the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Develop and implement general manufacturing processes, procedures and standards to ensure maximum efficiency and consistent quality output.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure up-to-date record of all products in stock and on the inventory application.
• Resolve operational issues and challenges promptly and effectively.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute strategic plans and budgets.
• Contribute and achieve sales and customer growth objectives for the organisation.
• Provide regular reports to the CEO on operational performance and progress toward goals.
• Manage and develop a team of production, distribution and customer service personnel, providing guidance and support to help them meet their goals.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirement and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations management, supply chain, logistics, and inventory control or similar role, with a track record of achieving operational excellence.
• Knowledge of General Manufacturing Practices is an advantage.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

N200,000 / month.
