In a dramatic turn of events, Nigeria’s healthcare system is facing turbulence as striking nurses continue to paralyze hospital services nationwide. The Federal Government has now issued a passionate plea to health workers: “Call off the strike and return to the negotiation table!”

Speaking after the Federal Executive Council meeting, Prof. Ali Pate, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, revealed that the government is actively addressing the grievances that led to the industrial action.
