Job Description
- We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should reside in or around Victoria Island, Surulere, Yaba, Bariga, Obalende, Lekki, and Festac.
- This position requires serious-minded individuals with a commitment to providing quality pharmaceutical services.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate dispensing of medications in accordance with prescriptions.
- Provide counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Maintain proper medication storage and inventory control.
- Offer professional advice to customers on over-the-counter medications.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with expertise and empathy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Ensure adherence to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Oversee the proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and other required documentation.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide information on health and wellness, including preventive measures and healthy lifestyles.
- Participate in health promotion activities within the community.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Degree from a recognized institution.
- Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community pharmacy.
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Reside in or around Victoria Island, Surulere, Yaba, Bariga, Obalende, Lekki, and Festac, Ikotun.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time with flexibility.
