INDUSTRIAL NURSE 

The role is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day activities in the clinic as well as implementation of preventive and curative medical policies and systems in the brewery within corporate rules and guidelines aimed at effective management of medical services. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Strict confidentiality of patient's medical information
• Provision of best quality nursing care to all beneficiaries of Champion Breweries in a safe environment. 
• Ensure working conditions are in line with the Company's HSE policies 
• Supervision of all the contract Nurses to provide medic-care services in the brewery. 
• Ensure patient management using evidence based treatment guidelines. 
• Supervise the implementation of relevant periodic health surveillance 
• Supervise and analyse medical data (doc for doc)
• Carry out weekly drug check to avoid storage of expired drugs 
• Comply with personal protective equipment applicable to the clinic 
• Comply with all the laid down procedures on solid and liquid waste management 
• Regular visit with review and audit of selected medical facilities in close liaison with the Head Industrial Nurse. 
• Ensure expatriate vaccination records are up to date on arrival. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN/BSN) or Higher National Diploma in Public Health Nursing(RN/RPHN) 
• Diploma in Occupational Health 
• Minimum of 3 years work experience as an industrial Nurse. 
• Relevant certificate/license on BLS/ACLS by the American Heart Association
