A medical doctor with the Kaduna State Emergency Routine Immunisation Coordination Centre, Dr Clement Bakam, has died of complications arising from COVID-19.
Bakam, until his death, was the Programme Manager of the KadSERICC, according to a statement on Wednesday by the state Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Medical Association, Dr Abdulsalam Abdulrazak.
“On behalf of the chairman, I regret to announce the sad demise of our brother and colleague, Dr Clement Bakam, following complications of COVID-19. “Our condolences goes to his immediate family, friends, colleagues and Association of Resident Doctors, Kaduna. May God comfort us all,” the statement said.
