SMC Job Application Requirement for Medical Officer

5. References (three references from past/current HOD’s or supervisors you have works directly under.

 

1. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR A MEDICAL OFFICER AT SMC
2. Registered and licensed with MDCN and 1-2 years post-NYSC work experience in an acute care hospital. 
3. Competent and skilled in clinical evaluation & management of medical and surgical patients.
4. Competent in the knowledge and application of human anatomy and physiology to relevant medical conditions. 
5. Competent in team leadership with sound interpersonal relationship qualities. 
6. Competent in managing antenatal, intra-partum, and postnatal care. 
7. Competent in managing pre-operative and post-operative patients. 
8. Competent in managing general emergency and critical care.
9. Competent in routine and emergency ultrasound skills. 
10. Only applicants residing in proximity to the Hospital locality or ready to relocate will be reconsidered.
