PROCUREMENT/SALES OFFICER - MDHx Pharmacy and Stores -Abuja

 

MDHx Pharmacy is a member of MDHx Group. We are community Pharmacy retail chain with four core objectives:

Ideal candidate:

 

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. 
  • Diploma/Bachelor  in Pharm Tech with at least two years post-graduation experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in community pharmacy practice.
  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines and latest customer needs
  • Knowledge of MS Office, CRM and ERP software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to visit local markets.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Residence within or close to Gwarimpa as well as ability to drive will be a strong advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all procurement of drugs and supermarket items within budget
  • Create and maintain good relationship with vendors and suppliers
  • Work with the Pharmacist and other team members in determining purchase demands
  • Analyze vendor/supplier prices and carry out procurement with the best cost-effective alternative
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and monitor payment of suppliers
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
  • Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
  • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable promoted products from time to time.
  • Interpret prescriptions from affiliated doctors and manage referrals from medical labs to prescribe our products and retail outlets, by utilising effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis.     
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute proactively
  • Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message.
  • Report to the Superintendent Pharmacist and Management Team
  • Monitor and analyse data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with latest medical information

 

Work schedule: Based on agreement
