Job Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Lagos

 

Job Description

• We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our spa team.
• The RN will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and wellness of our clients, assisting in medical aspects of spa services, and offering personalized healthcare support in a relaxing and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial health assessments and screenings for guests prior to spa treatments.
• Monitor clients’ health and wellness, ensuring that any pre-existing medical conditions are noted and taken into consideration during spa services.
• Assist therapists in providing safe, effective, and customized treatments, particularly for clients with medical or health concerns.
• Administer first aid and emergency care if required, and manage minor health issues or concerns during the client’s visit.
• Advise guests on post-treatment care, and provide wellness recommendations tailored to individual health needs.
• Ensure all client health information is kept confidential, adhering to HIPAA or relevant privacy standards.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and protocols in spa treatments, health, and wellness to ensure the safest and most effective care.
• Maintain accurate medical records of guests' assessments, treatments, and any follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with other spa staff to ensure a seamless and safe guest experience, particularly with medical or health-related spa services.
• Provide clients with basic health education, wellness tips, and preventative care advice.
• Ensure the spa’s health and safety standards are met, including maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
• Participate in ongoing education or training to keep up-to-date with the latest medical practices and spa protocols.

 

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensing/Certifications: Must hold a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license

 

Skills and Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current, active state license.
• Strong medical knowledge: Ability to assess medical histories and make appropriate decisions regarding treatment suitability.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to explain health-related information clearly and in a reassuring manner to clients.
• Attention to detail: Ability to ensure safety protocols are followed during treatments and that all medical-related tasks are executed accurately.
• Customer service focus: Providing compassionate and caring support to clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively: Ability to work effectively with spa therapists, management, and other staff members to ensure an integrated wellness experience.
• Critical thinking: Ability to quickly assess health situations and take the appropriate steps when needed.
• Physical stamina: Able to perform various tasks, such as assisting with guests, standing for extended periods, and carrying out light physical duties.

 

Salary

N120,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
