We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Medical Officer / Clinical Director

Location: Lagos

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer / Board

 

Job Summary

  • We are hiring a Senior Clinician to provide strong clinical leadership, improve care quality, and strengthen clinical governance across our operations.
  • This role combines hands-on clinical oversight with leadership responsibilities, including supervision of clinical teams, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • The successful candidate will help drive better patient outcomes, efficient service delivery, and a culture of safety and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Supervise clinical workflows, documentation, and adherence to protocols
  • Lead clinical governance activities: audits, risk management, incident review, and quality improvement
  • Support team performance through mentoring, training, and clear clinical supervision
  • Collaborate with management to align clinical goals with operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practice
  • Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, safety, and clinical outcomes

Requirements

  • MBBS (or equivalent) with full registration and valid practicing license
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (higher experience is an advantage)
  • Proven experience supervising clinical staff and managing clinical operations
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build systems, enforce standards, and maintain calm leadership under pressure

Salary Range

N500,000 - N750,000 / Month
