ABUTH Resident Doctors Suspend Strike

Resident doctors of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) Zaria have suspended the indefinite strike which commenced on June 1 over alleged incomplete payment of  salaries and illegal sack of their colleagues by the management.
 
The doctors after an emergency meeting resolved to suspend the strike following renewed commitment of the management to address their demands.
 
 
According to a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting signed by the president of the association, Dr. Tuko Moses, an intervention committee from Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH), mediatory efforts of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in Kaduna State and other stakeholders informed the decision to suspend the strike.
