Admission into the Various Courses At University of Benin Teaching Hospital

Applications are invited from the general public for admission into the U.B.T.H institute of health technology, benin city for the 2014/2015 academic session in the following courses
1. PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING OFFICERS COURSE (HND) 
Duration of courses 2 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess all of the following: 
a) WAEC/SSCElGCE OIL with 5 (five) credits including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology. 
b) Registered Nurses (RN) Certificate 
c) Registered Midwife (RM) or Psychiatric Nurse Certificate plus One year post qualification experience. 
2. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY COURSE (HND) 
Duration of courses 4 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess 5 (flve) credits in not more than two-sittings at the WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB OIL which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, 
Physics, Biology/Health Science. 
3. DISPENSING OPTICS COURSE: 
Duration of courses 3 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess 5 (five) credits which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry at WAECISSCE/NECO or GCE OIL at not more than 2 sittings. 
4. PLASTER TECHNICIANS COURSE: 
Duration of courses 3 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess SSCE/WAEC/NECO/GCE OIL or its equivalent with credit in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than 2 sittings. 
5. ANAESTHETIC TECHNICIANS COURSE 
Duration of courses 3 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess SSCE/WASCiNECO/GCE/OL with 5 (five) credits including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than 2 sittings. 
6. AUDIOLOGY TECHNICIANS COURSE 
Duration of courses 3 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess SSCE/WASCINECO/GCE OIL with 5 (five) credits including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry at not more than 2 sittings. 
7. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS COURSE (PARAMEDICS): 
Duration of courses 3 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess SSCEIWASC/NECO/GCE OIL with 5 (five) credits including English Language, Mathemat,ics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry and any other science subject at not more than 2 sittings. 
8. BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY COURSE: (ND) 
Duration of courses 2 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess SSCElWASC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not more than two sittings. In addition, a pass in any of the following subjects will be an added advantage. Wood work, Metal work, Auto-Mechanics, Basic Electricity, Technical Drawing, Economics and Fine Art.
9. MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING TECHNICIANS COURSE (DARKROOM TECHNICIANS) 
Duration of courses 3 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess SSCE/WASCINECO/GCE OIL with 5 (five) credits including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and 
Chemistry at not more than 2 sittings. 
10. DENTAL SURGERY TECHNICIANS (PST) COURSE)- 
Duration of courses 3 years. 
Entry Qualifications: 
Applicants should possess WASC/GCE O/L/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB with at least 5 (five) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
