Today, 14th January, 2016 at 12:25 pm, His Excellency, Pharm. Ahmed I. Yakasai led a four men team to pay an advocacy visit to one of the pharmacy ambassadors in public service in Lagos State, Pharm. (Mrs) Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf.

In his brief address, the PSN President, Pharm. Yakasai congratulated the honourable commissioner for her appointment and appreciated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode for appointing one of us as a commissioner. The former two terms Commissioner in Kano State encouraged her to continue to be a worthy ambassador of the profession by serving the people of Lagos State wholeheartedly. The Honorary Consul-General of Pakistan in Nigeria also asserted that PSN is very proud of her and wishes her the best as she contributes her own quota to the pragmatic growth and development of Lagos State, the Centre of Excellence.

In her response, Pharm. Akinbile reiterated her passion for the pharmacy profession and thanked the President for the visit. She opined, "I'm very proud as a pharmacist. " The beautiful and stylish princess encouraged the PSN President to work for true harmony between pharmacists and physicians in the nation for the interest of the patients and posterity. The pharmacist cum administrator wisely advised that the issue of Register and Go by pharmacists especially young pharmacists should be nip in the bud through proper education of young pharmacists and pharmacy students on the negative impact of such act.
