The Nation Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, AKTH Branch donated the sum of two million, five hundred thousand naira to one of its member on February 16, 2016
The ceremony was held at the Hadiza Mash Nurse's common room where the amount was presented to Raliya Amma Abdul, Principal Nursing Officer with the Department of Peadiatric who is going to India for medical treatment.
Presenting the donation, the Head of Department, Nursing Services, Mallam Mustapha Abba Gana appreciated and extolled the good virtues of the Association and the management of the hospital for assisting its members either dead or alive and urged the Association to maintain the tempo. The chairman of the Association, Kano State Chapter, who represented by his vice, Comrade Bashir Ibrahim, appreciated the effort of NANNM AKTH branch and urged them to continue with the spirit of oneness exhibited by members of the association. A sum of fifty thousand naira which was donated by the State Chapter to augment her medical trip was also presented.
In her response, the beneficiary, sister Raliya Abdul thanked the management and her colleagues for assisting her and prayed Almighty God to reward them.
