The attention of the Director of Nursing Services And The Ministry of Health Portharcourt Rivers state has been drawn to the activities of fraudsters offering admission forms "ONLINE" to unsuspecting members of the public.
These unauthorized persons are claiming to offer admissions thru online registration on a non existent website and are requesting applicants to make payments of between N7,500 to N10,000 to various accounts including but not limited to:

Phone Numbers: 08036266815, 08035833811
When unsuspecting individuals call the number listed, the individual who answers claims that the sale of the forms would end on whatever day they are called. They then urge the victim to rush to the bank and pay the amount so their forms would be processed and a pin number generated for their "form"
The Deputy Director Nursing Services Ms I. SOkARI (DDNS) Ministry Of Health, Portharcourt in a mail sent to NursingWorld said:
All interested candidate into Rivers State School of Nursing/Midwifery 2015 session should disregard any online admission, it's fake and totally fraudelent. Payments are done in ONLY "Fidelity Bank, State Secetariat Complex, thereafter with the print out applicants should head to Block A, Ministry Of Health, 4th floor Room 33-36 to get the form.
The South South State ministries of health also wishes to dissociate itself from the activities of these fraudsters who make various posts on websites claiming to be associated with their schools as seen below:
Members of the public are requested to please note that notices issued by these fraudsters in the form of letters, emails, social media messages or publications in whatever form, or any weblinks or pages created for this purpose never originated from the said southsouth ministries of health.
We also wish to notify the general public that all sale of forms would be advertised in National dailies and on the Nursingworld Nigeria website ONLY.
The general public is therefore, hereby advised to beware of the activities of these fraudsters in their own interest. Any one who deals with these fraudsters does so at his/her own risk
