The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has warned hospital managements to abide by pay agreements reached with the association to avoid a nationwide strike.
NARD President, Dr Muhammad Askira said resident doctors cannot just simply allow their management to go with impunity disregarding circulars.
Askira made this known during a press briefing at the end of NARD’s scientific conference and annual general meeting in Abuja.

A Federal Ministry of Health circular from July 29 requires hospital managements to ensure doctors are appropriately placed and their salaries adjusted on account of allowing them to skip a pay grade level pending a legal resolution of the matter in court.
