Joint unions and associations of the National Eye Centre in Kaduna who are currently on strike over non-remittance of their cooperative contributions and non-implementation of promotion arrears have accused management of the hospital of misrule.

 

 

Although the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Godwin Adejor, declined comments and referred our reporter  to other officers of the centre,  it would be recalled that the workers on November 4 went on strike over management’s failure to remit their co-operative contributions, check-off dues as well as lack of water and power supplies in the hospital, among other reasons.

 

Addressing a press conference yesterday, the secretary of the forum, Comrade Lawal Garba, said management has still not remitted the funds.
