The Federal Government has decried the inadequate workforce, including dearth of doctors in the health sector, warning that it portends danger to national development.
The Supervising Minister of Health, Dr. Khaliru Alhassan, said this during media interview after paying an unscheduled visit to the National Hospital, Federal Staff Medical Centre and Maitama General Hospital.
While rating the hospitals, he said, “They still have some challenges in the area of doctors. We are going to look into how we will add more manpower to ensure that there is adequate manpower to do the job.”
