Federal Government has appealed to multi-national companies operating in the country to support its health programmes for the people. Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, Mr. Linus Awute, made the call when he hosted a delegation from Agip Energy and Natural Resources Nigeria limited, a subsidiary of the Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC) in his office recently.
The team, led by Mr. Lorenzo Ceccolini, presented two sets of Infrared Thermoscreen Camera for measuring body temperature in the ministry, according to a statement made available to National Mirror by Principal Information Officer of the ministry, Ezeaja Ikem.

While thanking his visitors for the presentation, Awute was quoted as stating that solving health issues in the country was not only the responsibility of the ministry but required collaboration of relevant stakeholders.
He added that all hands must be on deck to tackle Ebola and other health related issues on the continent. This, he argued, is to ensure that post-Ebola period is sustained
