With the rise in busy schedules, demand for home care and post-operative rehab services, Greyheart healthcare has been unveiled to provide proper, specialized and prompt treatment to its clients at their door steps in a swift manner.
The Medical Concierge, is made up of a team of doctors, nutritionists, physiotherapists, residential assistants and also other specialists who are set to pioneer a home-based medical care model that will provide medical care to elderly patients, surgical stay homes, special needs kids and more in the comfort of homes, thereby shifting away from the traditional methods we already operate with.
Speaking recently at a press conference, the Managing Director Greyheart healthcare (GHH), Dr Adaeze Ibekweh said, “the healthcare is committed to providing different healthcare services in the comfort of clients’ homes.
“We are quipped to handle emergencies, perform first aid, provide CPR and basic life support until adequate care can be gotten. This is what makes us unique. It sets us apart from the rest. This service is available 24 hours a day including weekends with staff alternating shifts between day and night. All that is required is for clients to place a call across and the Medical Concierge will come up with a schedule that best fits you,” she said. According to her, the introduction of the medical concierge is aimed at providing a service that is long overdue in the country needed to tackle and manage illnesses at any stage.
Also speaking, Mr Afuye Oluwaseun, who is the physiotherapist for GHH said, he will ensure patients who have illnesses or diseases or physical limitations stay as active as they would like.
“With the current situation and increase in the amount of long-term care people around (stroke patients, elderly people, children with developmental disorders, (etc), it is important that they are able to go about their work and leisure without too much pain or limitation and Greyheath healthcare will ensure that.”
A nutritionist to the medical concierge, Ms Dumebi Nzemeke promised to ensure that patients eat what they are meant to eat, how they should, the quantity they should take so they can get well on time because the old way of eating has gotten many people into trouble, so
