The Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHOPECON),established by Act 11 of 2002 with a mandate to register Environmental Health Officers and regulate Environmental Health practice in Nigeria. 

 

2. In line with its mandate as enshrined in the enabling act, the Council is organizing another managerial retreat for directorate cadre Environmental Health Officers as a replacement for thematic training for renewal of 2016/2017 licenses thereof. 

 

3. The retreat is aimed at bringing experts from diverse areas which include Policy Makers, Seasoned administrators and senior professional Colleagues from public and private sectors to discuss issues and policy on how to move the practice and the profession forward. 

 

4. The retreat is scheduled to hold as follows: 

 

Date of arrival: 7th May, 2017 

Retreat: 8th - 9th May, 2017 

Departure: 10th May, 2017 

Venue: King David Hotel, Regina Ceali Avenue, Awka, Anambra State. 

 

Cost: N25,000 to be paid into the EHORECON TSA account at any bank branch before close of work on the 5th of May 2017,

 

5. Sequel to the foregoing, i am directed to request your good office to bring this to the notice of all concerned and also request for the sponsorship and release of all directoate level officers, (Directors, PhD and Professors) working in your organization to enable them meet the requirement for continued practice as prescribed by the enabling act
