The Jigawa Government has closed three private health facilities in the state for violating operational rules.
Malam Musa Aliyu, the Public Relations Office in the state’s Ministry of Health disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Dutse.
He said the Commissioner for Health, Dr Abba Zakari, gave the directive when he inspected the facilities on Feb. 16. Aliyu listed the affected facilities to include the City Clinic in Hadejia, Taimakon Allah Scan Centre in Jahun town and Ema Clinic in Zago village in Kafin Hausa.
The spokesperson said the facilities were found to violate rules and regulations governing the operation of private health practice.
Aliyu quoted the commissioner as saying that the ministry would continue with the inspection of private health facilities operating in the state.
He said that the gesture was to ensure they complied with the rules and regulations governing private health facilities for safe and proper healthcare delivery in the state.
