The University Graduates of Nursing Science Association, UGONSA, has reiterated that it is not part of JOHESU. In a text sent to Nursing World Nigeria, the National Secretary, Nur. G.I. Nshi said the Association divorced from JOHESU in November 2014 over its dubious arrogation of Unified Schemes of Service (USS) to Nurses as a demand.
”The current agitation of JOHESU still borders on the same issues, including the USS for Nurses, that it failed to achieve after its 3-month misguided strike between November 2014 and February 2015.

UGONSA was never part of that ill-fated strike and can never be part of JOHESU or participate in its strike until it shelves the devilish idea of USS for Nurses.
You would recall that the leadership of JOHESU had directed that its members to embark on a 7 day warning strike action after its meeting with the Federl Government ended in a deadlock yesterday
