LASUTH Bags Two Outstanding Healthcare Awards

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) has again blazed the trail in the medical profession by adding two different awards to her collection.
 
The awards were in recognition of the institution’s commitment to quality healthcare delivery, friendly environment and outstanding performance in the field of healthcare in Lagos state and in Nigeria. One of the awards was given during the Nigeria Healthcare Excellence Award organized by Global Health Project and Resources on 26thJune, 2015 and the second during the West African College Institutional Award on 11th June, 2015. 
 
An obviously elated Chief Medical Director of the institution, Professor AdewaleOke, described the award as a reward for hard work and teamwork. He showered praises on the management and members of staff for making the recognition possible. He charged them to see the awards as a challenge to do moresaying,“the reward for hard work is more work”. 
 
These awards are two of various numerous awards the institution had received in the last one year at both national and international events. Prominent among which is the prestigious BID International Award of Quality given to the institution at an event held in London, United Kingdom last year LASUTH is well recognized globally as a tertiary health institution providing quality healthcare in Nigeria and beyond. It remains the fastest growing teaching hospital in the country with the best modern day Healthcare Facilities and world class Medical Practitioners. 
 
Other guests present at the event were: The Chairman, LASUTH Board, Dr. Babatunde Williams; Hon. Victor Olaleye; Dr. Waliu Braimo and Director of Administration, Mrs. Olajumoke Akinlawon.
