Professor Julius Okojie
The Executive Secretary
National Universities Commission (NUC)
Abuja

Dear Sir,
We are compelled to reach out to your office under the aegis of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) to respectfully urge you to accede to the requests of both the PSN and PCN to give urgent approval to running of the Pharm. D. Programme in Nigerian Universities.medicalworldnigeria.com

It is important that we put on record that the global norm now is to render patient oriented services in preference to product based services.
At our last National Conference we charged academics in pharmacy to come up with a home grown Pharm D. Curriculum approvable by National Universities Commission (NUC) which will have propensities for National Development. We urge you Sir, to collaborate and partner with us for the sake of consumers of health who we have a responsibility to give the best tenets in patient-care-available in other climes.medicalworldnigeria.com

In view of your well known antecedents to support excellence, we plead with you to re-evaluate the Pharm. D. Initiative in both the ultimate public and professional interest in our country.

Thank you very much Sir.
