The Guinness Eye Centre, Lagos University Teaching Hospital will provide free glaucoma screening to the public on 8th – 9th March, 2016 from 9.00am to 3.00pm. This is to commemorate the World Glaucoma Week celebration.
The weeklong celebration is scheduled to hold from 6th – 12th March, 2016, at the Guinness Eye Centre. This programme is part of the Hospital’s Corporate Social Responsibility and is geared towards helping to raise awareness for glaucoma which is the second leading cause of blindness worldwide.
The general public is hereby invited to take part in this free exercise as early detection is one of the preventive measures to prevent blindness from the disease.
