SOS Childrens villages works in 133 countries to suport families and help children at risk grow up in a loving home. for more than 60 years. We have worked with partners in each community to either help families care for their children or to provide an alterntive for instance an SOS family in which the love of a carer is essential.
Working through out the country, SOS childrens villages Nigeria is in the process of recruting the following:
NURSES
Key responsiblities
Discharges primary healthcare in the village, assists in the program design on healthcare, nutrition and HIV/AIDs for community/projects
- collaborates with inhouse clinic staff in the management and control of clinic drugs and disposables, Maintains a top class hygienic environment in the clinic, Renders advise on health matters as may be required
YOUTH COUNSELOR:
The role of the youth counselor is to guide individual youth, accompany them through their career, contribute to the quality of youth care and organize youth activities within th frame of the SOS family child care model as well as ensuring that the individual need and rights of children are addressed and prtoected.
PROFILE:
BSc Psychology/ B.Ed Education (guidance and counselling)
Expertise in child and youth care
knowledge of national child welfare system and child rights/ child protect
familiar and aware of UNCRC and child care acts and other relevant national child care legislations
team spirit
5 years of releveant experience, with a proven track record of success
